The CGIAR Platform for Big Data in Agriculture organized its 2019 convention with the theme "Trust: Humans, Machines & Ecosystems." The convention was hosted by the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) and held at their campus in Hyderabad, India, on 16–18 October. The Platform is led by the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI).
